I counted the pages last night over “Shuffle Songs” on my iPod and an organizational meltdown. Super stoked at the progress and know that I have so much more to add. Then there will be editing. Then third, fourth, fifth and sixth draft, if I am lucky or talented. I will take either. It’s more than just getting the story out there, it was a healing process of sorts, a means to, not an end, but a beginning.
Tonight, we dine on asado. On the menu: ribs with homemade BBQ sauce (gracias a Maggy), potato salad, leafy salad and grilled corn. Yes, we use charcoal because there actually is no other way to BBQ here in Argentina. It just doesn’t exist. Feast for fine people on our new terrace furniture, a rustic, dark wood table with four matching chairs. Perhaps a boliche later, to go dancing. Dancing is much more entertaining here as it isn’t about bumping and grinding but rather keeping rhythm and beat. They actually have dance moves and twirls.
