to what degree?

The philosopher walks into the coffee shop and says: Aristotle.
Barista: “But, what does that mean?”
Philosopher: “I’m sorry, I don’t understand what you are asking.”
Barista: “You quote this and that and how nobody has an original thought in one’s head, which seems obvious because any idea is the dissection, analysis and synthesis of observations or tactile experience. We talk about the way a system ought to be instead of the way it is and how we truly want it to be. I think it’s fantastic and intellectually amazing, but, why are we talking about these things? We could talk about the body politik forever and for thousands of years we have, but what does it all mean?”
Philosopher: “This is all I know to talk about and I just need someone to talk to.”
Barista: “Tell me about Aristotle.”
